There are different styles of carvings, again, achieved by using different techniques and tools, with each technique adding another dimension to the outcome of the carving. The different carvings are flat carved, shape carved, hand carved and hand carved full round sculptures.
Flat Carved – The design is outlined only by using the sandblast technique and has no shape or dimension.
Shape Carved – The design has dimension, depth and texture and is achieved using a combination of sandblasting and steeling.
Hand Carved – Hand carvings require a stone sculptor. They are done by hand using pneumatic tools and chisels. They are 3 dimensional done in relief.
Hand Carved Full Round Sculptures – A stone sculptor is also needed for full round sculptures. Again, these are done by using pneumatic tools and chisels. These are full 3 dimensional carvings.
